Does taking part in the partner program cost anything?
No. Participation is free — there are no fees and no minimum commitment.
Who can apply?
Tax advisors, payroll offices, agencies, consultants, YouTubers, bloggers and industry portals with a connection to shift-based businesses. The program is aimed at businesses (B2B). We review every application personally.
When does a commission arise?
When a business referred via your link (or, optionally, your discount code) takes out a paid subscription and actually pays the invoice. No commission arises for trials that don't convert.
How is the commission calculated?
Based on the amount the customer actually pays (after any discounts), in line with the commission model in your approved partner profile — e.g. a percentage, recurring for a set number of payments. We define the details together when you're activated.
Are there discount codes for my community or customers?
Yes, optionally. On request you'll receive a personal discount code (e.g. 10% off the first invoice) that is automatically credited to your referred customers at checkout.
Can I see my results?
Yes. In your partner dashboard you can see clicks, sign-ups, paying customers, open and paid-out commissions, and all commission credit notes.
Do I need to be a registered business?
The partner program is aimed at partners acting in a business capacity. Payouts to private individuals are not provided for — your tax status is clarified before the first payout.
Why do I have to provide tax details?
Commissions are tax-relevant payments. For correct settlement we need your address, your VAT status (e.g. standard taxation or the small-business scheme) and your bank details. Without complete information we cannot pay out.
What is a commission credit note?
Instead of you issuing us invoices, we settle via the credit-note procedure (Section 14 of the German VAT Act): Shiftdesk issues a monthly commission credit note with a sequential document number for your released commissions. This is the usual, bookkeeping-clean approach for partner programs — you receive every document in your dashboard.
How and when are payouts made?
By bank transfer to the account you've provided, generally monthly after the commission credit note has been issued. Commissions are released after a short holding period — this protects both sides against cancellations.
