Creating and exporting reports

With reports you analyze working hours, staff costs, and shifts. Every report follows the same scheme: choose a type, set filters, choose a format, start the download.

Step by step

  1. Go to Reports in the dashboard menu.
  2. At the top, choose the report type you want (e.g. payroll journal, plan-vs-actual, surcharges).
  3. Set the filters:
- Period (day, week, month, or custom) - Employee, Team, or Department - Optional: cost center, Location, or contract type
  1. Check the preview in the table.
  2. Choose the export format:
- CSV for Excel and further processing - PDF for printing and archiving - DATEV for your tax advisor (see DATEV export)
  1. Click Export. The file is downloaded immediately, or delivered by email if the report is very large.

Tips

  • Preview first: Check the data in the table before you export. This avoids duplicate work.
  • Save filters: Use Saving reports as favorites to open recurring analyses with a single click.
  • Permissions: You only see the data you have access to. Managers see their team, HR sees everything.
> Note: Reports are based on the released time entries. Entries with the status open are not included.
