App: chat, announcements & push notifications

Messages and notifications in the app

Through the app's inbox, the team stays in touch: direct messages, group chats, and official announcements — plus push notifications for everything important.

Chat

In the Chat tab, the employee has one-to-one and group conversations:

• write messages and send images (camera or gallery)
• read receipts (sent / read)
• search by conversation or person
• start a new conversation with colleagues

Announcements

In the News tab, the official announcements from management appear — with priority (Normal, Important, Urgent), publication date, and an optional image. Opening an announcement marks it as read.

Push notifications

The app informs you via push about relevant events. On first launch, the app asks for notification permission — if it is denied, it can be enabled later in the device settings.

Under Settings → Notifications, individual types can be switched on and off, e.g.:

• end-of-shift reminder (remember to clock out)
• auto-close notice
• new shift assigned
• open shift available
• availability reminder

Tip

At least enable the end-of-shift reminder — it prevents forgotten clock-outs. Background: Forgetting to clock out and the safety net.
